You won't need the steel centre, since the ally pinion for the manual mags will mount directly on the shaft. No need to take the old one apart!

Draganfly used to have the aluminium pinions, deGroot BSA in the Netherlands have them listed as well (can't link directly, visit http://www.degroot-bsa.nl/ and search for "67-0540"). Probably SRM will be able to supply one as well, you might have to drop them an email or call them.

Cheers, Markus

I recall seeing that the rivets can be bought in a set. I will try to help locate same when not thumb typing and with better internet access.

There was a topic all about this a few weeks ago. In fact there was someone who'd bought 100 rivets and was offering them.

Here in fact

It was me. If you PM me with your address i will post you some for the cost of the postage. The rivets are 3/16 * 1". I know these are ok for the auto advance can you check these are the correct size for the manual advance.

Drill the heads out without damaging the counter sink. Then trim the rivet to a length with an extra 3/4 (rule of thumb) of the rivet diameter than the width of the parts to be riveted together. Then whilst ensuring that the parts are held together and support the other head end of the rivet on the vice or something solid, pein over (with a ball pein hammer) the end of the rivet to fill the counter sink or create a dome head. A larger number of small taps rather than a few big hits, I used a metal plate to protect the fiber gear while I did the riveting. Finish this with a rivet set for a domed head if you have one, or file flush the counter sink.
