Hi,
My name is Peter, I am born in 1942 and live in Switzerland, I own a Virago XV 1000 1985, a Yamaha Road Star XV 1600 2001 and a BSA Gold Flash Jg.1954.
BSA is an old love of mine.
In 1960 I already owned a gold flash.
I hope my English is good enough to be able to understand it.

G'day Peter, Welcome.
Even an Aussie can understand your English. The Scotts are a little harder  *smile*
Nice bike mate, love the colour.

Welcome to CH, hoping you will enjoy the forum.
How is the vintage bike scene there, I'd guess many are interested in classic German bikes ?

bsa-bill, we both  1942 and 1943 were made in the war and are the best vintages. *beer*
Switzerland has had 36 own brands, such as Motosacosch, Zehnder, Condor, Royal, Universal Mag, etc.
There are many Swiss brand collectors and classic motorbike drivers
Many ride British bikes such as Vincent, Norton, BSA, Velocette, Ariel, etc.
