Hi,

Just joined the group. Name is Peter, I am retired and live in West Wiltshire, UK. Hope to collect my 1952 Star Twin next Friday and looking forward to using it (but not until the roads are salt free again). Did have a test ride last week  and found it much quieter mechanically and smoother than my previous BSA twin, an A65t.

The Star Twin joins a Matchless G3, a couple of mid 70s BMWs and some MZs. Most of my riding is done with the local section of the VMCC.

Doubtless I will be back for help once I get the bike, there is bound to be something that worries or puzzles.

regards

Peter

Hi Peter, Welcome to the forum. I am not far away from you as I am in Bath and ride with the Bath Classic MCC so I expect we have common friends. Let me know if I can help with the Star Twin.

G'day Peter, welcome to the forum.
We all hope you don't need help and can ride to your hearts content. But we are all here if you do.
Just starting summer here so a fair bit of rain coming with it. Winter (more like your summer) is my favourite riding time. No need for salted roads down here.
Cheers
