« on: 07.06. 2010 20:24 »
does anybody know where i can buy another one of these on it's own? After 30 years i don't know it proper name! A stall holder at the last Rye autojumble had them at 50p each , they come in 2 sizes and like a fool i bought the wrong size ( the smaller ) I need the larger.
Thanks

I know them as ferrules too.
Its worth wrappin a slivver of insulating tape round them, to prevent them falling off the cable and getting lost whilst you're working on the bike, be it in ther shed or on the roadside.
Cheers,
Iain
