I did notice in an earlier thread "gender issues" some have names for their bikes my wife names all our vehicles (5 bikes, 2 cars and 1 Van) my beezer ic called "The HammerRat" it was painted with hammerite (since 1987) and is a bit of a rat!
what names have others got for their bikes?

Well, it's 'Golden Flash' translated into Norwegian, the local word combination makes it sound expensive, fast, pretentious, high tech + funny lol

My son, who celebrates his second birthday in September, refers to my Shooting Star as Daddy's "Og Pog" after a small trolley type device that Makka Pakka, one of the characters on the Cbeebis tv show "In the night garden" rides around on. It seems to fit it quite well and I am sure that both are probably similarly reliable...

I call mine "Wildcat". My first Brit bike as well as my first ground up build and it bit, spat and clawed at me every inch of the way. Even now its got a MOT its still fighting as i try and get it registered.
