Recent joiner
« on: 06.10. 2024 14:53 »
Hello All. Introduction as recommended by helpful people. I am a young bloke aged 59 from South West UK. Grew up on Japanese bikes and had my first Z1000 at 19 and still have the GS1000 I bought in 1985.  Now a little older and curiosity got the better of me in 2016 and I bought a 1952 Sunbeam S8. Engine rebuild and steep learning curve later the bike is great. Wife rides too and we have tried to sort of match up bike outputs to keep days out a little more even so bought a long stroke A7 plunger from an older  local chap so we could go out together. Doing an engine strip and rebuild due to mysterious oil loss and big bang has been another learning experience and loads of subtle things I just don't know about the bike which is why I am on the forum.
