head gasket
« on: 25.06. 2024 13:30 »
Bit offbeat for this forum, but at least making progress on my special after March's stroke.
Most (car) head gaskets are a fibrous material with a thin stainless fire-ring crimped in place.
Any idea where I can buy these? I still have some (larger bore) from my previous project, but can't now remember where I got them from.

G'day RD.
I know it's half a world away but have heard good reports of these guys https://www.gasketsolutions.com.au/automotive-composite-gaskets/
I will be contacting them soon for special head gaskets for the Cafe and A7.
Cheers
