Unable to access forum via android

Hi, any ideas why the forbidden 403 page comes up when I try to log in via my samsung tab a. No problems going via google chrome.

I usually access the Internet using my Android tablet or my Android phone. I have had no problems doing that. It might be worth finding out how to clear the browser cache, (whatever that means).

Can you PM me the ip attributed to the samsung tab when you see a 403, + any other info (f.ex. using a vpn?). If you retry a little later, or next day etc, still 403 ?

What browser on the samsung ? As suggested, clear cache.
Is the samsung and the mentionned chrome both on the tablet, or on 2 different machines ?
If on 2 different machines, on the same network\wifi ?
Can you test using a phone ?

Yes, sometimes needs lots of digging to find things :O)

Have tested with my samsung mobiles, no problems for me.

Anyone else seeing 403 forbidden, please post here asap.

Hi,

My Samsung tab a has been doing this for the last few days.
The samsung phone and laptop are ok.

The mesage is 'Forbidden   You don't have permission to view this resource'

There is no 403 in the message.

cache is clear.  I use duckduckgo on all machines.

I bought a new Samsung Android a15 phone last week.  Loaded the A710 forum on and it worked fine.
After some other fiddling around, started getting the same message as Olev.
Ended up doing full factory reset, and now it's working again.
I must have hit something that blocked the forum Web site.

^^^ Thanks for reporting. I do not think the A15 phone was a fault (unless you could not access any other websites at the time). I think it's some poltergeist on the server side.

This is important:

Anyone who has seen the forbidden or\and 403, does things (usually) work again on the same machine a little later = next try, a few minutes, a few hours, next day ?

Went into recovery.
Wiped cache partition.
Reboot system.
Working ok now.

I cleared cache 2 days ago, still 403. Today with no input from me, its suddenly working again with no problems. One of the mysteries of the internet ? I think I'll  stick to bikes. Cheers for the tips though.👍

My suspicions were 'something' on the forum server side, blocking legitimate connections, happened during a few periods in the past, long time ago.

Seems all is well now, plain sailing ahead.
