Compression plate wanted
« on: 04.12. 2023 02:56 »
Gidday.
Anyone know where I can lay my hands on a 1.5mm compression plate to fit an A10 plunger engine?
Cheers

I have a compression plate in the shed, but i think its 3  mm, will check.  Point is its hardly high tech, you could get one laser cut using the gasket or cylinder block as a template or hand saw one out of ally.

Cheers. No rush. I think the double head gasket idea has,as you predicted, failed quite spectacularly....

G'day SF.
I thought I had a spare but it was only my template for my through bolting.
I think it was a Forum member that sold them in the UK. I'll have a hunt.
Sorry.
Cheers
