Peggy Dolan illustrates the enormous size of one of the world's largest cameras, as she sits just outside the 135 inch bellows. The modern, all metal picture taking giant measures 25 feet in length, nine feet in height, and eight feet in width, or about the size of a large house trailer. Its 42 inch lens is used to expose a picture on film four feet by four feet, as compared to a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch picture taken with a box camera. Built by Robertson Photo-Mechanix, Inc., the camera will be used to photograph all types of original copy, photographs, art work and type set matter for the purpose of making printing plates.
