Larger valve head?
« on: 13.11. 2023 21:57 »
Is there a way to identify whether an ally head has the larger valves without taking it off?  My bitza has an ally head fitted but it also came with a spare.  I'll measure the valves in the spare - what sizes am I looking for? Are there any distinguishing features on the head? Both have cast in single carb manifolds.  I'm thinking 1 1/16 vs 1 1/8 intake/carb dia, is this correct?  Thanks

Thanks for that link.  I now have a lot more to go on.  I'm still confused but at least I'm now as confused as everyone else.  *smile*

Update: head is 67-1126 which makes sense as its seems to be mostly Super Rocket. It also has on the rear by the near side rocker box nut the following:
57-A20GV   CC53
Anyone know what this is about?
Spare head turned out to be A7 so that's heading for e-bay.  Numbers in the link were very helpful.
