Small Journal Crankshaft Sludge Trap Plug.
« on: 16.12. 2023 17:03 »
Merry Christmas all.

I want to clean up the slug trap threads on a Small Journal Crankshaft.
Can any one tell me what size tap I need.

Many thanks, Iain

Try e-bay, I'm doing this job on a big journal crank at the moment and got a new Dormer 7/8 BSF tap off e-bay for £8 inc postage.  There's probably no demand.  I got a bottom tap as I wanted to scrape a lot of carbon out the threads.
