Heidenau do a 4.00 x 19 https://www.heidenautires.com/product/k-28-2/ assuming you are on 19inch wheels, otherwise Metzler do an 18 inch

I don't have any knowledge on the topic of tires for or with sidecars, but I just wanted to mention that that is very nice work coming along. Also, coveting your CNC router.

Hi
I'm fairly sure Avon still make the 350x19 Sidecar tyres
As seen on lots of Baby Austin cars *ex*

Having done many miles on a Golden Flash combo I can say the tyres work hard.  You need a stiff tyre that holds its shape cornering as there's a lot of side force. You also want a flatter profile, there no leaning so you want tread on the road.  The front spends a lot of its time going slightly sideways.  We would use Avon SM mk2 on all the wheels as they are stiff and square-ish profile, but they were cheap, now I see they have jacked the prices up a lot.

What with Goodyear planning to close the Avon factory and perhaps moving production of certain types to France (?) along with a healthy increase of prices I took advantage of a recent sale from a supplier here in Canada to purchase a few sets of spare tires for my Nortons and a few others. What will we do for classic tire preferences in a few years? My A7 got a set of Heidenau's as I really thought they look pretty good and seem like they give a good ride.
