Headstock

A friend of mine has a GA7 frame but it has no plate reinforcing around the headstock. Was it only the 650cc bikes that had that perhaps and his is a 500? Any ideas appreciated.

Same frame for both.
You won't have a frame number then? The number is stamped on the wrap around.
