Anyone building cars too?
Here is a T roadster I built a coupla years ago. Original T frame, 283 small block Chevy, th350 trans, 12 bolt rear.
Scary fast!!

I want a ride! That thing has got to be a gas, running around Chesapeake Bay. My last go at hot-rodding was dropping a 350 into a right-hand-drive '69 Jaguar 420G. It ran and was fun, but sat around for 20 years waiting for me to finish it. It was cost prohibitive. I finally offed it for a pittance to make room for motorcycles.

Edit: Correction: "I want to drive!"  At first I wrote "327" but your post reminded me it was a 350 (and trans) from an ex-cop car.

Can you get that on the road legally in the US?

Rusty/Dusty can let us know what the licensing situation is for his bucket-T, but, yes, I believe they can be licensed in most states with the addition of mud flaps.

In Maryland (here in the states), there is no inspection for street rods or classic cars. There are restrictions on when and where you can drive them. You are not allowed to use them for daily commuting, running errands etc. You are allowed to drive them for pleasure, to and from shows or events, and you can drive them to a repair shop…

Used to be like that over here. Everything over 25 years old could be registered as a classic even if it was heavily modified. No MOT, and road tax was just a symbolic sum of €35/year. As above, allowed for pleasure driving, events and driving to a repair shop.
Then they started noticing that some people bought 26 year old rusty bangers, registered them on a classic car plate, and used them as daily runners… 
So legislator introduced a yearly MOT for everything over 25 years, 2 year MOT for over 30 and a 5 year MOT for over 50 years. No fundamental modifications allowed, replacement parts have to be as close as possible to the original.
All of which basically killed off the hot rod scene overnight…

They are introducing legislation to do that here, it’s only a matter of time…
On the other hand, that T roadster was not safe by any stretch of the imagination.
Kinda like a motorcycle?…
