Old A10 Owner - intro
« on: 18.04. 2023 22:41 »
In 1986 new house, no garage, new job I thought I'd stop doing car stuff and buy a project bike!

Say hello to a 1961 A10 Super Rocket - great idea!  Joined BSAOC went to shows, had SRM in Penarth (an old stomping ground) do the bearing thing and other stuff,  went to auctions brought the books, full speed on some things - got the clocks rebuilt, found a correct SR carb in Chepstow.

Life got in the way, bike went under floor 30 years ago.  Brought a Tiger 100 project, built it used it, parked it. Stored it for 20 years with water in the gearbox...

Retired engineer and thought - lets get that A10 on the road.  That's the tale and hopefully will explain the daft questions that will be coming.

2023 has other priorities - complete a 6 year VW Latebay Viking camper,  powerboats from a 70's career with OMC/Evinrude so the BSA will be taking a while.
