Found these in my fathers loft, they look like never been used. Address on the box is Armoury rd. Were these a BSA accessory?

They are not hand protectors! They used to be issued to riders of Triumphs that have the parcel rack on the tank. They were developed because It was found that after even a minor prang, the Triumph rider could sing Castrato.

Y'all probably know, but the address corresponds with the location of the BSA factory in Birmingham.
