Now I have started the engine on my my newly built A10 GF I am starting to find the problems.
I have an oil leak from the front banjo bolt on the rocker box oil feed. I tightened it up and to my horror the thread stripped.
I know the correct repair is to remove the rocker box and get it helicoiled but I am reluctant to disturb the cylinder head. There seems to be plenty of good thread left when I screw the banjo bolt in without the banjo. Can I get longer bolt (65-0317) and if I can, would this do any harm to the oil feed?
