My first motor(ised)cycle, minus the sidecar, was one of these. It had been in my grandads shed for yonks. I can still remember the fruity smell of stale two-stroke that had turned into varnish in the tank and carburetor. The engine was a Villiers 98cc. Once I got the machine running I became a nuisance to the neighbors. I would ride as fast as I could around the circular cinder service road behind the houses;  that was all good experience for proper biking though.
