Some pics of my A7SS.

Plus the Tank is all Chrome.

Also got a nut shreader on the tank.  Think the designer thought it would be a good luggage rack.

Hi Dave,
Can you post pictures of the tank grid?
The tank on my SR has the tapped hooles, most opinion says these were for police radios
But I was once told BSA offered a tank grid as an extra???????/

Hi John will take a photo of it for you, and post it.

Its quite a simple flat grid, secured by the 4 tapped holes, raised by spacers.
Just right to catch the soft bits if you brake hard,  but then on drums that might be difficult.

Owens Motorcycle currently have an A10 with a tank grid

http://www.owensmotorcycles.co.uk/Project_bikes_page.html
And England Kev who used to post here when he had an A10 took a picture of a white A10 with a tank grid at possibly Kempton Park autojumble.

The tank grid on mine is something that I had done, and after going to the effort of getting it done. It surprised me that there are fair number already out there.
I must admit the news pleases me. I'd hate people to think it was there because I covet Triumphs.
Cheers,
Iain

England Kev is no longer amongst us (A10ly-speaking)? I'm sorry to hear that. He was a great contributor and I hope he will chime in now and then. Maybe he will get some A7/A10 pics while off on other adventures. His pics were, after all, always "Class A".

He has an M33 now.
I think by the time he got his A10 properly fettled he was sick of it.

He still regularly posts on Britbike.com
His photos can be found at the address below. They're always worth a look.

Photo of the tank rack.
Excuse the mess in the back ground.
