Where to fit Thorspark Coils on A10

Hoping to fit this unit this weekend.
Where is the best place to fit Thorspark Coils on 1960 A10 pre-unit GF.
I'm sure someone has done it before.

Plenty of folk have. Toolbox? It's a single double-ended unit and doesn't take up THAT much space.

I tried an SRM/Boyer coil ignition on my A10 around 4 years ago. Coil mounting position is an issue, the suppliers of the kit do not appear to include the heatsink/mounting bracket for the coil in the kits (got mine from Boyer)

Mounted the coil in the tool box.

Did not like it so went back to the magneto.

I fitted a Thorspark to my GF about 2 years go, The coil is under the seat attatched to the frame cross tube  at the top of the battery carrier using P clips.

Have mounted mine on the petrol tank strap. Not too visible, close to the plugs  and it gets some riding wind to keep it cool FWIW…

Finally positioned it within the battery compartment with a 12 v 3ah battery at present. I’m not using the dynamo just recharging the battery. But anyway the bike has power to start the wiring. Still  not got around to starting it yet.
Note the carbon fibre wrap on the oil tank. I tried to get it wrapped at least to the centre weld but taking too long as my first wrapping exercise so cut off where it shows. The other side I managed to get the lid all done. So almost perfect match both side s. Thinking of the fuel tank next or cowling or engine casings.
