Startup

Finally got the old girl started. I did the age old trick of having the leads around the wrong way to start with but knew what was wrong straight away thanks to the forum . Excellent oil return. Just needs a bit of a fiddle to turn revs down a bit and set air fuel but otherwise very happy. My sincerest  thanks to everyone on the forum for their help and again special thanks to Orabanda.

G'day Mike  *yeah*
Bet that feels good.
One suggestion, before doing carb adjustments lower your aux fuel tank to handle bar level. The extra head pressure at the height you have it may give a rich mix.
Cheers

I bet that was real labour of love, congrats on a brilliant job. I had an “inner grin” for days after my first startup and ride.

Yeh it does give you a sense of accomplishment. Thanks Muskrat I didn't even consider that the height of the petrol bottle would affect anything. Another case of how the forum helps people.   *smiley4*
