A10 fitted with A65 8" s/s half width front brake. I have Emgo shoes fitted the brake is not very impressive. From all that I have read this should be a reasonably good brake. What would be be the best course to take?

You need to do a proper analysis. Are the shoes making good contact? is the cable arrangement such that the levers are in their optimal positions? etc.
