An adventurous manufacturer GB, innovative and always managed to make things look good.
That's a remarkable replica, that one, and well documented.
The racing 500cc water-cooled blown beast of 1939 (I think) was something else too, not to mention the later Porcupine etc.
A truly great marque, I think, which punched above its weight. I think of them, from those years, in the same breath as Velocette really.
But I am unaccountably biased - for no better reason than long exposure to my own scruffy post-war 'AMC' models.
