A10 Plunger cover picture

So i've been googling for a close up picture of the A10 Golden Flash Plunger clutch cover as mine is faded and i want to restore it, but I can't find a close up one for some reason. If any of you have the Plunger version of the Golden Flash, could you please send a close up picture, it would help a lot.

The domed clutch basket cover is painted black. Do you mean the primary drive cover??

Describing it would be it is right next to the clutch lever and it is silver in colour with the words Plunger A10 and the BSA logo. I dont know if there are more words as mine could have faded but maybe that could be a pointer.

I haven't got the word "Plunger" on my bike anywhere. Are you referring to the gearbox inspection cover? Nothing's written on mine though.

 If it is the small cover plate below the clutch operating arm on the gearbox it is an aftermarket or homespun custom casting added by a previous owner. In the quest for true original perfection, sadly it has to go.

 Don't look in there for the clutch. They've put it somewhere else. Found that out on a B31 a long time ago, being brought up on Lambretta LD's I naturally assumed the clutch was under that lever. Lesson learnt....know your enemy..... get the book.

I think you have a non original part there.

By the way, BSA called it a Sprung Frame, not a Plunger.

Then you'll know the correct name & parts numbers..

No decal or it either.
Could very well be a dealer addition
There are lots of decals that were required to be fitted to comply with local legislation
Because they were a local thing usually they were a local distributor part and not a BSA factory part.
