Introduction
« on: 24.06. 2024 21:48 »
Name is Mick and I've been lurking on the forum for a good while. I own a 1960 Golden Flash that I bought a few years ago. It's the first British bike I've owned since I was 14 years old when I bought a Starfire off a school friend that wouldn't run for more than a few seconds, I think I only paid a few quid for it. It turned out the main jet was blocked and was soon up and running. A few years after that I was riding around on Japanese 2 strokes before going on to ride bigger 4 stoke bikes. My last bike was a YZF-R1 so the A10 took a bit of getting used to. Back in the early 70's, a lot of my mates, who were a bit older than me were riding British bikes. Two of them owned A10's and I would often ride pillion on their bikes, that's my only experience of the A10 until now. I'll try to upload a picture of the bike.

That's a nice looking bike and thanks for the intro. If you've been lurking around here for a while you'll know that there's a wealth of ability and experience on here and people who are keen to help.

G'day Mick.  *welcome*
It's nice to see "lurkers" join even just to say thanks.
Ah, the R1. Yes I had one up to 285kph and had 1K revs to go!
