'There was a lot to think about when i was making my Kawasaki V12. Here is a pic of whats inside. The Z1300 clutch and transmission are huge in proportion and more than capable of handling the extra power but i had to swap a few gears around to increase the final drive ratio for the 2300cc V 12 engine'

I rebuilt one for a mate 12 years ago. Bugga of a job and that one would be double bugga. The std motor has five chains, that would have seven

In the caption for this picture Allen says, "When I made this V8 I only had a Myford ML7 model makers lathe for turned parts. All other work was do with hand tools"
