Speedo help needed

Hello Everyone,

I've been struggling to work out how I fix one of the speedos I have to the bike I'm building. Its dawned on me that these aren't actually for a BSA and that's why I'm struggling! None of the brackets fit to the speedos either so I'm a bit stuck on the brackets too! No idea why my dad had 3 speedos that don't fit, but thinking it may have been a thing back then to fit car ones if that's what they are? The bike never had one I don't think so they were bought along the way. This may be a silly question but can anyone offer any advice if one of these can be fitted to A10 S/A, as I'd just need brackets and a cable if so. My thought now is that it may just be better to sell them all and buy a chronometric one, now I've looked into the one that should be on the bike!

Any thoughts?

G'day Dave....   hope this helps...
TOP 3 speedo's are Triumph with the drive in the centre...
Bottom left possibly Enfield or Arial ?  Bottom RIGHT is BSA
Both bottom ones has the drive on the left hand side..

Cpc Engineering in Cornwall make brackets that fit the Indian clocks to the BSAs. The brackets may also fit your clocks as both types are magnetic. You may still have problems with the correct reading though.

Hello, That's great info thanks!
Now knowing the speedo drive shouldn't be in the middle of the clock explains why the speedo brackets don't fit.
Getting the speed ratio right is another point well made.

I think I need to be looking for a chronometric one, but a quick look on Ebay and they seem to be selling for more than gold in a unknown condition!!
If anyone has one to sell at a fair price, please let me know.
