Me: UK until 1981 >> Norton >> Vancouver, BC until 2013 >> Glen Haven, NS.

Perfectly working BMW sold to fund the purchase of the A65 basket case and the T120R in a bobber frame w/ 1971 Triumph conical hub front end. While purchasing the A65 I noticed a rusty frame leaning against the outside of a shed -- "Whassat?" -- "A10 frame" -- "I'll take it too!". And so the TriBSA project was born.

A65 will be mostly stock, TriBSA will be whatever it wants to be, since I am starting with frame, engine, and front end. No rush :)

Thank you, that's my life long journey of bikes so far. Currently only the A65 and TriBSA projects grace my garage and I am quite content with that! Oh yes, and the bobber frame :)

Welcome to the forum. You have some of us (I consider myself in "us") green with envy for that stable. Pictures of any and all would be fantastic. You're in an interesting place, I believe, one I've only experienced by TV, I'm afraid. Speaking of that, maybe the treasure on Oak Island is a hoard of antique British bikes in crates.  Another bonus for you is proximity to British Cycle Supply, I bet you know those folks if you're not one of them.

Yes, having BCS close by is amazing and I can't wait to go visit.

I'll post photos of the above bikes. Irritatingly, "1970s to 1990s Matt" didn't take lots of photos and when I did they were usually of Sasquatch sighting quality!

Hello Matt, nice list of cycles and I have a few of those myself so I know what they are like. Was in Vancouver until 2010 so undoubtedly we have been to many of the same events. Enjoy the builds as I know I like the wrenching to have bikes to ride almost fresh each year

Nice! Some good old days at Westwood (where I picked up my 1978 Ducati) and then the Italian Days in the waterfront park in North Vancouver. Several friends had both classic British and Italian bikes. One good friend, who had hurt himself hang-gliding and could no longer ride, insisted that that his friends exercise his stable, including: early 70's Ducati 900SS, Laverda Jota, Ducati 998, Triumph Scrambler, and late '70s Ducati 900SS. For the winter he kept them in a glass enclosed "Bikarium" which his living room looked into. My contribution back to him for riding these priceless bikes was to video my rides so he could get a birds eye view. The early 900SS was terrifyingly wonderful, the 998 breathtaking fast, and the Jota ride a dream come true. When he passed he left his bikes to his closest friends. The attached photo is me with my son sitting on the early 900SS at Italian Days.

I currently have no working bikes as I sold everything to move out to Nova Scotia!

The A10 and A65 are the recent acquisitions and I am rebuilding them in parallel so while I wait for parts for one, I can work on the other - of course I may regret this approach at some point

The bike had been raced so it was wired up and had a gorgeous 2 into one pipe that sounded amazing - a nice way to wake up every morning! :)

I know the frustration of not having photos of some previous bikes. In particular, I don't have any of my 1959 Shooting Star, other than work in progress photos. This is because it got nicked the night after I completed the restoration, never to be seen again.
