hi. my name is gary. about 15 years ago i had 6 bsa,s i had a 1949 a-7 a 60 superrocket a61 spitfire two 64,s a thunderbolt rocket a lightning rocket a 70 thunderbolt. the 49 a-7 was my first complete restoration the last year the x and i went the ohio valley bsa owners club rally took first place with the 49 and the 61.that was in 2007. ended up getting a devorce and sold bikes. i was lost for a couple years and am trying to get back. just picked up a 53 golden flash. joined bsa club again ready to get back into it.  if interested google 1949 a-7 and look for gary scheaffer.  i am really kicking myself for selling the 49.

I'll take my 51 to the grave. I've told the wife to cremate me and pour the ashes into the hole in the backbone. If I can't take it with me I'm staying with it!
