fuel tank - how much extra N/S capacity in uneven tanks

i'm again replacing fuel taps and thinking about reserve capacity. my 61 SR tank is the type that's lower at the bottom on the LHS. does anyone know how much extra capacity this feature offers, or more to point, how many reserve miles I'll get from the left if both taps are the 'non-tube' 'reserve' types? ie just relying on the tank feature as the resrve.

so here's some eyeball measurements. it 'looks' about 200ml or about .05 imp gallons so at 50mpg = about 2miles.

so not enough to function as a reserve unless the centre of the tank separates to two sides, which it appears it doesn't reliably.
better fit a main / tube tap on the right.

I've always kept the LH side tap as the reserve as I mostly park on the side stand so expected there might therefore be more on that side. But is that bogus?

IT will depend how fast you accelerate and how far you lean into right handers .

Hi,
Being a leftie, I run with the left hand tap open, only once did I get caught out as my planned refuelling place was closed when I got there
I only got about 5 miles on what remained in the rh side
Luckily a guy I know came past in his van and had a gallon of juice in the back
