12 volt battery

installing a dvr2 reg and looking for a 12v battery that fits in the super rocket housing any suggestions on a make and model preferably available in north America .

Motobatt MBTX7U or Yuasa YTZ7S fit the tray. If you want to use the original metal battery strap you may need to clamp it with a piece of thick rubber below and on top of the battery. Both are AGM so can be placed on the side inside a rubber battery cage but I wouldn’t recommend it. Tried it, and it works but will shorten the life of the battery.

I use a Yuasa YTX7L gel on my A10 with wire clip battery retainer. Fits well with a couple of extra pads underneath.

Measures 114 x 71 mm base and 131mm high, so a bit higher than the YTZ7S which is 105mm.

Same here. Got it after your recommendation. *good3* Holds the charge well too if charged before use.
