Cheers Jim, yes, Swarfy pinned it for me, it was the 'Queen', a little further down towards Orpington on the left. There was a row of mock Tudor shops on the left, and on the right, Princes Parade, which was a row of shops with flats above, one of which, my dear ol' mum's, was the scene of much 60's debauchery, (by which I mean plenty of pretty innocent drinking, hilarious times, Thelonious Monk blasting, THE best roasts in England!, the occasional shagged Velocette and B40 out the back).
We never darkened the door of the Fantail up the road, well, maybe only once to check out the new barmaid.
