Got the standard set up on my A10, front and back work fine. Have noticed that I have to keep the front brake lever a bit slack when it's cold as it closes up quite a bit when hot. A good pull on the front is enough to make the whole bike shudder to a stop - not smooth but very effective for its age/drum brakes!

Brakes only slow you down.
The 7" on the A7 plunger didn't even do that. 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung on the boot lid of a car to prove it
Cheers

Thanks for all the replies guys.
Regarding the brakes, I will finish the bike first as it is and try the standard 7" frontbrake. @Rocket Racer, thanks for offering one of your sets but I agree that shipping costs will be out of proportion.
