Hi Folks! The Cheshire Branch of the BSA Owners Club hold two events in May. We have a 'Pre. M.O.T.' show at our HQ, 'The Crown', Lower Peover near Knutsford, WA16 9QB on Saturday 4th May. All pre. 1979 bikes are welcome. The show runs from 12.00 - 4.00 p.m. There will be awards for 'Best British', 'Best Foreign' and 'Landlady's Choice'. There is also discounted food and drink at the bar.
The following weekend is our main event of the year, The 'Cheshire BSA Weekend Camp and Rally' at The Cotton Arms, Wrenbury, near Nantwich, CW5 8HG. Those of you who have attended this in the past will know what a great weekend this is. There's all the usual nonsense starting with a Quiz and drinks in the pub on Friday night, 10th May. Then on Saturday a Treasure Hunt Run, Silly Games, Awards, and the Saturday Night Mayhem Band and Bash in the Pavilion with our resident band 'Tumblin Dice'. Being a little bit bonkers will help you enjoy the weekend! A warm welcome will be extended to all Forum members and their friends. You don't have to be here for the whole weekend, dip in and out whenever you wish. Looking forward to seeing you. Andrew

My timing is really off, I’m visiting the uk (ringwood, hants)  for 6 weeks June/July, including a visit to Macclesfield to see my nephew.

So I’ll miss these Cheshire events by arriving too late, and I’ll miss the International rally by leaving too early  *problem*

My wife chose our uk visit dates and seems to have not taken into account BSA matters   *whistle*

I’ve been looking into buying a cheapo “hack” bike whilst in the uk so I can relive my (uk) youth a bit (Japanese most likely, def not BSA as they certainly ain’t cheap) but eBay seems a real minefield over there!

I'd go, but then there's this on the Cotton Arms menu:

"Sautéed black pudding, haggis roulade, crispy bacon and parsnip & apple
puree with a poached egg and parsnip crisps."  *smile*

...but seriously, I'm just jealous and wish I could be there with my A10.
