Greetings. I’m new to British bikes, but I’m up to the challenge of assembling six boxes of A10 bits into a roadworthy machine. The bike was taken down to small parts in 1965, and hasn’t been worked on since, so it’s quite a puzzle to me, the un-initiated. I am a retired machine tool mechanic, and plied my trade at Boeing for 38 years, so bending wrenches is what I do for enjoyment. So far, everything about my Golden Flash has been well designed and machined to a very high standard, and has survived 50 odd years of vermin abuse while stored away.
Anyway, it will good to talk to you all in future, I expect many long nights in my shop during our coming rainy season. It is Seattle after all.
