Guess I'm just greedy, Richard. I genuinely can't choose between two of them, although obviously they have different traits. Bit like asking which is one's favourite shirt, I suppose. Depends on whether it's for a black tie event, a lounge suit or for work. If there were a fire, I'd save the M21, but that's a bit unfair as I'd be taking it because it's irreplaceable, not necessarily because I prefer it.

Grew up on japanese fours, loved them all, fast revvy and ignorable maintenance wise. Fell into the BSA spiderweb of charisma, attention grabbing and high maintenance in 1988 and haven't looked back since (or got off my knees, one day i'll get that lifting ramp GB). Have recently acquired a BMW f700gs with boxes to aid easy foreign travel but i can never part with the A10 (that's my fave,Richard). Don't ask me to explain why, the pain, suffering and cost makes me think i have a masochistic issue. On those rare occasions when she runs right and i stop worrying about the vibes, leaks and brakes the sun shines brighter and i feel a bit more alive. Some of my happiest memories are riding her around northern Spain back in the day.

Jim,

For the Au/A10 Forum, that's the perfect answer.

RD,

Of your bikes, I have no trouble with an answer, the M21. One of my favorite feelings when riding my A10 is the time-machine factor. The older (and rarer) the bike, the stronger the factor must be. (I know, kind'a contradicts what I just told Jim. Oh well.)

Hi guys, I love my Bsa it’s the bike I’ve spent the most time on/with and money. I’ve had the push button and go bikes but they don’t tax your brain, when the Bsa lines up with other bikes it’s the one that gets the most attention, cheers

This one at the moment. Mainly because of the hours spent building it.

worntorn - that's a great looking bike. Love the way the exhaust follows the engine lines.
