Went for a ride on the weekend

Knocked up 229 miles over the course of the day and yes a BSA A10 on road tyres can get through that bog hole if you're committed enough

A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.

Weather has been similar for a week now

The route was Rangiora, Waikari, Hawarden, Culverden, Waiau, Cheviot, Gore bay, Hurunui River mouth and back to Rangiora with several side trips, sort of a treasure hunt for Adventure bikes to different locations

Number plate is as per the original rego papers

in akl now (where its rained daily for at least a month), tho i grew up in chch owning bikes from aged 15, but have never ridden most of those roads. at least not yet. you've got me interested
