... Final few piccies...
On way home, bike ran good again until I had a bum break and just would not start again, thankfully no one around to see, (aint it horrible when people watch) turns out the spark plug cap was somehow knackered inside as I had taken it off to strip back cable sheathing and attached bare wire to top of spark plug, sparks then returned. I suspect magneto windings was also complaining because engine was really hot - was running very lean, plug was super clean! Great thing about old side valves is that I don't think you can hole a piston.
