Hello from Ohio USA
« on: 05.07. 2018 14:15 »
Hi everyone,

Glad to have a good resource such as this for my many, many questions! I stumbled on this page after I acquired a 1961 Super Rocket about 6 months ago.

I’m planning on stripping the motor soon and checking the sludge trap, while also making a few improvements as well.

I’m no stranger to BSA’s as my father has a 1970 Thunderbolt and I have a 69’ Thunderbolt, 69’ 441 VS, and a 68’ Royal Star.

Hope to get to know this place better and learn from everyone!

Very nice looking bike. Eastern USA is a great place for riding these old bikes. Low speed limits and lots of hills and curves (well, not so many hills in Ohio, but they're not far away). Wouldn't mind seeing the other bikes as well.

69’ Thunderbolt. It will have a Siamese exhaust with the aluminum tank.

Thanks, everyone! First time user, I'll try to figure the photo posting out better. I think they were too large.

The 441 might actually be on its way to a new owner soon. Sad to see, but will help fund the A10 rebuild.

Maybe I will use that from now on... "Oh... Hi, oh..."

I have to credit for that to a now defunct local wireless station that had an afternoon pisstake segment called something like 'The Stoned Ranger or maybe Stoned Deranger and Toronto', intro was sound of Sliver neighing, as SR/D comes in with "Ohio Silver..." .... guess yea had to be there.... *conf*

Welcome aboard, can't have too many Beezas.... The pic of the A50 at a Brewery ticks a heap of boxes for me!
Cheers Tomcat.
