Hello,

Thanks you for your response, so how do I tell whether the washer is needed or not by looking at the carby body ?

Josh

Dear Sir,

The new Monoblocs use the thinner "Mark 1 Concentric" O ring, and have a recess machined into the platform on the top of the float chamber to take the washer. Once the washer is in the recess and the seat tightened it should sit flush with the surface of the platform, bringing the location of the seat into the same position as the originals

Kind Regards,
