Wanted: Drip Shield (ski slope)
« on: 13.06. 2018 18:56 »
*help* I am having trouble finding a drip shield for A7ss / A10sr part number 67-0527.
There are drip trays advertised as being 67-0527 but they are not correct, they are the 67-0120 ones for the A7 & A10.

The one for A7ss and A10sr is narrower and offset to one side.

Can anyone help.

Thanks.

I recently got one from Draganfly, quality could be better, give it a sanding and a polishing and will look much better. One side did not come polished and the front where it curves looks to have tool markings on it.

Yer.
I just received one from Feked, advertised as 67-0527, when it came it wasn't a 67-0527. It was too wide, again.  *pull hair out*
The A7ss A10rr and A10sr has the manual advance/retard and needs an off set, narrower ski slope.
The one that Feked are passing off as 67-0527 fouls the advance / retard cable.
Oh well, that's another £20 quid down the drain.  *problem*

Absolutely not! that is a clear case of misrepresentation. Ask for your money back, and P&P costs too. Strictly speaking under the sale of goods act the item must be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose. If the item is miss described then it does not fulfill that criteria.

I'd phone them and complain (edit: if you're sure it's wrong), they'll likely ask you to send it back for a refund and then, because it's their fault that you have to do that, insist they refund you the postage also.

I mentioned this as a by-the-way comment in a post a short time ago:  They sent me a pushrod last year, along with some other bits, that they admittted, on the phone, they knew were made the wrong size and insisted I had to send it back to them for a refund. After I returned it I insisted they also refund the postage I had to pay to send back a piece of useless steel rod that they shouldn't have sent out in the first place. Although it wasn't a lot of money I sent it back purely out of principle and in the end they did refund me in full including the postage, it took several emails and about 3 weeks.

Had a dig around in the shed today. I have an original genuine BSA drip shield. Drop me a PM.
