Cam and followers also get oil which drains from the rocker box down the pushrod tunnel.

G'day Anji.
When hot at idle it will drop (20psi on my Cafe) but once over 2500rpm it's back up to 50psi.
The cam is sitting in a trough of oil so will be lubed at first rev. The bush's will be dribble fed by mist in a few seconds.
I think the oil feed to the cam is a throw back to the long stroke that didn't have the trough.
Cheers
