Introduction BSAlien
« on: 30.10. 2017 07:28 »
Now hopfully on the right place.

Some infos about me. (Sorry, I should have done this first)
I am located in the very very west of Germany.  18 years ago my wife was pregnant and I said to here:
“If you get a baby, I will again have a bike”
Here answer was: “ Do it!”
Three month later I got the bike of my dreams when I was 18 years old.
It was my lovely XT 500 (1U6) from 1982.

My brother in law is riding a T110 and a friend has got a Norton P11.
This one was my next dream for about 14 years, but it is very hard to find one, especially a good one.
In December 2013 I found my dream bike.
No, not a P11! It was the BSA A10 Spitfire Scrambler.
It is not an original frame (number is from a flash) , but in the German registration documents,
it is called Spitfire Scramber, so I am happy with that!!!
Last year I had my first big run with the Spitti. 4500 km to Ireland and back.
Two guys on two Spitfires and only one gearbox-change. *smiley4*
Thanks a lot to John o R. again!!!

Cheers
Hubse
