Introduction

Hi All,
My name is Mike and I live in Rockingham , Western Australia. I have recently started restoring my 1951 Bsa Za10 Golden Flash. I have been a viewer of this site for some time now and thought it was about time to become a member. As with everyone these days money is tight so it will be a long process but hopefully a very satisfying one. I have already rebuilt a Bsa wm20 which took 5 years and after the A10 I have a Bantam to do. Still looking for a couple more .My main objective is to leave one bike to all my grandkids and in the meantime have fun riding them.So far I have rebuilt the plunger suspension and front forks using heavy duty springs as I would like to attach a dusting sidecar to it. Just trying to figure out what the mountings to the frame look like.Anyway I look forward to asking a lot of questions in the future and hope there not too dumb.

Regards,
             Mike

Hi Mike,
Great work there; another sandgroper on the forum!

Gavin is just down the road in Mandurah, and I am not too far away in Maida Vale; get in touch if I can help in any way.

G'day Mike,  *welcome*.
Your doing quite well already mate. There's no such thing as a "dumb question" but there may be some dumber answers. You'll be busy if the kids start multiplying faster.

Mike,

Welcome to the forum. Sort'a wish you had joined earlier in the process so we could have absorbed the steps. Great work!  I have one question. Would you mind identifying which are the "before" and which are the "after" photos? *smile* ;)
