Yes, they don't like temperature changes, they don't stand up if they get shaken around, the recharge point is much closer to the fully charged voltage than a lead acid, plus they take a memory.
They are finicky on when you charge, how much you charge, and how fast you charge.
Ever notice if you leave your laptop or cell phone plugged in all the time, after a while it will tell you the battery is dead after a few minutes unplugged? That's what I mean by memory. It gets used to being at peak charge all the time, and as soon as it goes off it's near dead.
The technology is great, I just don't think it's ready for a motorcycle quite yet.
