Schoolboy error
« on: 12.04. 2017 07:17 »
After winter cylinder head overhaul, new valves, guides and springs and general clean up she would not start, fuel Ok, good spark but no go.
So carried on kicking, swopped the HT leads, tried new plugs but then a spit back and she roared into life but would not rev and sounded rough.
So stripped off the mk 1 concentric and straight away found the needle was unattached from it's clip.
Quickly corrected and she now sweet again, and looking forward to our first ride together.
1960 Super Rocket, owned since 1966, back on the road 2012 after being laid up for 29yrs.

If making schoolboy errors would let me go back to being a schoolboy I'd make them more often, on purpose.
Pleased you got it sorted relatively painlessly.
