Hello to the forum
« on: 24.12. 2016 19:11 »
Hi folks, Thanks for adding me to the membership. I recently became the proud owner of a very nice A10, my first BSA. I'm looking forward to covering many happy miles on it, and hopefully (with the help of the forum) making it even better. Here's a couple of pictures of my new baby for you all.

Beautiful machine!

I see that the front brake lever is not ideal. Should be less than 90° before operation coming to 90° when brake is applied. You should check the linings. If they are ok the lever may not be set correctly

Hi and Welcome wdgld,
Your A10 looks good ! (+1 0n the front brake arm)
One other thing you may like to correct is that the kickstart cotter pin is fitted wrong way round
The nut end should be in front, this will position the kickstart at a better angle and place the pressure point on the thick end of the cotter

Cheers

Welcome aboard WDGLD. Nice Bike, looks like you plan on doing some riding. Always better to buy a going machine than a basket case! Cheers from Down Under.  Tomcat (Peter)
