Is it possible to use the Engine push rod comb tool 67-9114 to align the push rods on a long stroke engine?

Ah. Is there a way of doing it without the comb? I manage to get one inlet in, but not the other.

I use the comb tool with no problems. Works perfectly and saves me loads of time.
