Non BSA 650 project!

Thought I'd post up a pic of a build project I started recently....its something I've had in mind for a long time....basically a bike in the style of a 60's clubmans single cylinder race bike but using cheap, relatively modern bits....in this case the ....ahem....Honda 650 engine! So far very few...well none actually BSA parts but I'll see if I can get something in there!

G'day Rob.
Just fill up the "Honda" in the covers and put a Goldie badge on the tank.
Cheers

yeah, then you can sell it for big bucks, say it's the prototype Gold Star that someone found in the building rubble.......
Won't be all that different than what goes on now on ebay..then you can fund some Real Bikes.
Ends vs Means I suppose...lol.

Couldn't you sling a plunger semi unit beesa donk under that? nice and compact, but with an alloy head and thick flange barrels...

I hate to tell you this, Richard, but you have the wrong tank on the '58.

I know, but the fellow who owns the bike loves it (the tank)!

I've got one in pieces but I don't know if I will live long enough to build it.
